Amazing place to get away either with the whole family or just for a golf weekend . Pool and hot tub are nice and clean , on site gym also. Tennis courts also plenty of activities to do on site or close by. Also beach access to private area is a plus for less crowded beach fun. Walk paths and covered walking paths throughout the property.
The hotel is nice and I would stay here again. Our room was large and very clean. Bed was really comfy. Service is good. The hotel is older and has a great vibe and look. You can see things around that need to be freshened up. When booking pricing says including all fees but when you get to the final pricing page you get the surprise of the amenity fee and the rate does not really include everything! Unfortunately, this stay was deeply disappointing from the moment I arrived. From the start, the staff was not warm, kind, or welcoming. The front desk interaction felt very nonchalant and uninviting, and I experienced the same detached attitude at both the provisions market and the dinner location in the main lodge. Came here for an anniversary celebration and was let down. For as costly as the stay was- we were disappointed. Our room and bed smelled of mildew, the server at the restaurant didn’t check in on us at all during our meal after taking our order- and as understanding as I can be, it unfortunately wasn’t worth the price and I couldn’t justify staying here again, or recommending it to others. The scenery was beautiful, best compliment I could give.
