Upon checking in our room in the evening around 8pm, I began to get my two children (ages 3 and 4) ready to get into the bath. My husband began unpacking and settling into the room when he stated, “There is a bird flying around our room”. As I saw the animal fly across the room, I very quickly realized it was actually a bat. I came here for a nursing conference. I have been to this location before, but this time I stayed. This resort is set in the forest and has a serene vibe. There is a wonderful fireplace in the lobby and a cute, comfy library adjacent to the lobby. Outdoors there are several fire pits to chill and chat with friends.
