Salina Regional Health Center is the an example of how the medical industry misleads, over charging and scams their clients during the insurance submission process. Back story, my employer only pays for preventative coverage, it is the cheapest coverage they have to maintain for the size of the organization (thanks Obama Care). I drove over an hour for my appointment and was 10 minutes late, so I expected to maybe wait longer to see the endocrinologist. The 3rd floor staff was very unfriendly seemed to know before I even told him my name that I was late & was very rude in letting me know that. Said he would ask to see if they could still see me. I waited another 10 minutes for them to tell me I couldn’t see a doctor. While I understand I was late the unfriendliness and lack of desire to help from the staff ensured I will never return here. The staff is very delightful and good to work with but trying to talk to someone in the office on the phone is almost impossible I know a couple people that have went elsewhere because of that
