I have been seeing Dr. Lakhani as a patient for the last 18 years. Yes, it is true that you still have to wait for a long time to see him regardless of the fact that you have an appointment. Plan to spend minimum 2 hours when you have an appointment. The majority of his patients are senior retirees on Medicare. He spends a lot of time with each patient and gets to know his or her clinical history very well and even their personal and family history. Better bring a pillow you’ll be there at least 2 hours. I personally think he needs to retire !
Dr Lakhani is great. He has been my doctor for many years now. Beyond the care, I appreciate the explanations and insights he is never too busy to offer. He remembers to check that I’ve had or scheduled my other recommended checkups (eyes, colonoscopy etc) Dr Lakhani is excellent at recording & recalling my medical history, and with discussions of age appropriate concerns.When needed, he has recommended specialists that I have used. Awesome Dr.He was my mom Dr for 7 years he always heard her out when she was very ill I would really recommend anyone too see him !!!
