I have been a customer at Salida Veterinary Hospital for over 15 years. Dr. Hill and his staff have always taken great care of my babies. There have been times after hours that I have had emergencies and had to take my pets elsewhere. I chose to live in a rural area so I accept that. I also accept the fact that Dr. Hill and his staff have families and responsibilities outside of work. I don't expect to contact my PCP after hours and have them see me. The same applies here.
They were so so kind they took very well care of the kitten I found under my house no cost. They did it out of pure love and kindness. They were very informative and welcoming. I would recommend this to anyone.I’m
Dr. Hill was kind and knowledgeable. The front desk staff has a total lack of empathy and SO RUDE
Couldn't get into our regular vet and my senior dog was in pain/limping. Alex was able to fit my dog into Dr. Ben's schedule as a drop off and I cannot say thank you enough. Dr. Ben really cares about the senior pets and talked through the best options for her with me. What a knowledgeable, compassionate and kind doctor and staff. Thanks a million!!! Highly recommend this doctor and staff.
Annie charged for an exam which she never did, and charged for 5 radiographs, 2 were totally undiagnostic. I have worked for the best Equine Veterinarians in the industry, and this was pathetic. Debbie Willemsma
