I was diagnosed with basal cell on my face at this clinic. I called multiple places wanting a plastic surgeon to do the closure. I decided to come here because I was told the Mohs surgeon, Dr. Strasswimmer was a plastic surgeon over the phone by the MA (I was later told it’s hard to get the medical assistants to say the correct thing). I have been going to this dermatologist for several years. I arrived for my annual appointment and was told that they no longer accept my insurance. I drove one hour and 45 minutes to get to the appointment. I was told that it would need to be self-pay.

I was extremely disappointed with the care (or lack there of) with this dermatology office. My initial visit with Janelle she didn’t even look at my skin, just sat at a computer, typed and wrote a script for a topical medication. I proceeded to ask “aren’t you going to take a biopsy or skin scrap? Do you think it may be psoriasis or eczema.” Nope. My follow up visit was a 5 minute FaceTime which I was just sent a $40 charge for. During this quick call Janelle prescribed four medications: 2 oral and 2 topical. Three days late... read more

I think they throw a dart to see what sticks… Felt like a guinea pig, nothing worked and only made me worse… Not to mention zero follow up after I reached out notifying them of a bad reaction I was having to medication(s) they prescribed.
