Very clean environment. Nice people but bad service. They do not handle large breed dogs well. Did not properly care for my Husky's ear Infection. Did not handle my musseled dog well. Missed diagnosed my dogs illness. Does not listen to the animal owner. Prescribes and sells you unnecessary medicines. Was over priced for not handling my animals needs. And if you take your animal there then you will pay for tranquilizers that your animal will need to take before you bring them back 2 weeks later for their check up! And it was... read more

All staff are so friendly and caring to our pet and to us. Its refreshing to go to a vet that doesn't treat you like you're nothing compared to the pet.
I can't thank this veterinary clinic enough for the care and compassion they showed during one of the hardest moments of my life. When it became clear that it was time to help my beloved 17 year old dog, Sugar cross the rainbow bridge, they got us in right away. The entire staff was incredibly kind, patient, and gentle — not only with Sugar, but with us as well. They created a peaceful, respectful space that allowed us to say goodbye with dignity and love. Salem Vet has always been great! One of my dogs is allergic to everything and they listened and helped get us on medicine that helps prevent flair ups along with food. Definitely, ask how much things are going to cost before allowing things to happen.
