The place has a good nurse Mi shay one of the best nurses there. Food is terrible and watch what medicine they give you certain medication cause side effects. Don’t trust cafeteria to do food trays they will put anything on your tray. My mom was in Salem at the end of June. Nurse missed her infusion antibiotics so they had to wake her up at 3am. Didn't give her what she requested at meal time. Nurses coming in poking her fingers for sugar when she had no issues her doctor even said we didn't order a sugar level. A nurse didn't know how to empty the catheter and dumped urine all over the floor at 9pm after house keepers were gone. The nasty thing is they use towels and paper towels to clean spills. I wouldn't never put a dog here r my mom
Only what good nurse there Me shay. The rest need to be trained in bedside management and cafeteria need a lesson in seasoning food the only food that meets requirements is catfish on Friday. Ice cream comes in the room melted drinks come to you hot. I had to report a nurse for missing my mom's IV antibiotics I sent orders to the nurses on discharge and they just ignored it . I'm a doctor that use to have a patient in Salem Place I can say Salem Place has changed. Nurses use to be on top of things. Now nurses especially nurses from 6pm to 5am slack off just play on their phone. I have sent orders to my patients things go ignored I send discharge orders they ignored. Wound care and Conway regional clinic and Conway regional infectious disease say Salem Place don't follow doctors orders
