Well if you have nothing but time to waste in a waiting room and be here for over 4 hrs on a Sunday and watch everyone who came in after you and then politely ask what the list is and you're giving an attitude but if like lady on the four left side of the window completely ignoring you when you're after window and then she rolls her eyes when another nurse is trying to talk to you since she sees that you're ignored by her. A lot of the nurses are not very caring!! The saddest thing is people with mental health issues or substance abuse are put in the hallway on a gurney to be treated like someone who is a bad person. These are illnesses just like cancer is! It is sad. A loved one went in for throwing up for 10 hours non stop and told her NOT TO THROW UP ON THE FLOOR!!!!!! Salem was a great hospital at one time. When you call to check on a loved one they are mean to you as well!! SMH!!! IF YOU DON’T LIKE YOUR JOB, FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!!
Incompetent people that dont care to actually test for diagnosis and as long as your "vitals" are good they push you out the door without real care for the reason you even went to the er. They just tell u to go see a specialist while waiting weeks or months in pain for that appt
Every patient was treated with kindness and respect! You have a wonderful staff helping the people in the community! From front staff, workers, nurses, doctors,security and cleaners! You all deserve a huge THANK YOU! +
We visited the pediatric ER for a GI Emergency. We were seen in less than 5 minutes. We saw several shifts of nurses and doctors and they were all great, sweet with my kid and understanding of our concerns. I appreciated having a separate ER for the kids.
