I want to thank Mrs.Johnson for Salamander .It is so well done,it fits into one of the oldest communities in the nation that changed very little since the civil war,with elegance.You have a remarkable staff which is difficult to assemble in that part of the world.My friends had a wonderful time and some came quite a ways.They will spread the word.Thank You Bill Turner

Unreal resort. Incredible service. Amazing people. Next time I'm bringing my dog very pet friendly as well.
Very impressive driving up, scenic, stately, warm and inviting but then we received the bad news, our reservation (paid for on line) had been bumped - we were moved to another hotel (in the vicinity) good news Salamander paid for everything and refunded us...so we were disappointed but still up for the adventure of the spa. The spa is delicious, the staff friendly, accommodating,professional and informative, but I think a little over rated and over priced however that is based on my living in CA where we have an abundance of... read more
