Great 4th of July celebrations
I participate in the Tuesday morning Yoga with Ginny. It is an excellent practice that is always well thought out and offers individual attention. I utilize the indoor salt water pool afterwards and continue my workout. Staff is friendly and the environment is meticulous. Ginny Blair is a true yogi through and through.
Very nice facilities. Courteous staff. Timely service. Price is high for quality of actual massage experience which was on par with local establishments; yet, that quality far exceeds comparable resort spas such as the Homestead Resort. All in all, a good experience and would definitely return in the future.
Beautiful resort!! Clean and pristine!!! Super friendly staff and very accommodating!! Loved meeting Miss Julia at the stables!! She helped our toddler become more comfortable around their huge but very friendly pony, Odin! Enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits for breakfast and their salmon bagel, with all the yummy fixings! Our only criticism is that we wish that the pool had a grill for lunches, versus the easy sandwiches. Other than the lil criticism, we will definitely be returning!! I had been told about how great this place was, but no words do it justice. It’s really, really beautiful!
The Salamander Resort is a short 15 min drive from our home. We are frequent quests enjoying the amenities from horse back riding to a simple relaxing by the bonfire. We never leave without making new friends and running into ones we have meet from prior visits. Wonderful weekend getaway or date night out.
Salamander staff does everything with excellence and focus on the guests’s experiences.
Absolutely amazing! If you ever get an opportunity to visit, do yourself a huge favor and DO IT!
We just had the most wonderful anniversary at Salamander. The food was fantastic, our room was heavenly,and the service was wonderful. I purchases a horse print in the gift shop and the manager noticed it had a flaw, so she drove to the artist home to get another print for me. It’s such a stunning place to stay, the decor is an elegant equestrian dream. I cannot wait to go back for a longer stay.
