Went to a wedding there. The food was delicious, the wait staff very attentive and the ambiance was perfect. Could not ask for a nicer venue!
A 340-acre scenic resort offering a luxury spa, cooking studio, farm-to-table fine dining restaurant and wine bar, zip-lining tours, horseback riding lessons, three pools, putting green, and bike rentals. The perfect place for weddings and special events, large settings or more intimate smaller venues.
We enjoyed brunch with Santa and Christmas dinner at the Salamander this year. Both were absolutely wonderful! Great service, atmosphere and food. Salamander is gorgeous and unpretentious - our family loves it! — with Arlene Spund and 9 others.
After years of insisting on home cooked Christmas dinners we decided to try Salamander Resorts family style meal. They accommodated our family of 14, giving us a private dining space and serving a preselected 6 course meal that was amazing! They allowed time in between each offering which gave us a chance to converse, catch up and digest. The food was excellent and Terry and Roberto were very friendly, attentive and efficient. We attended Christmas Brunch and both my husband and I were extremely disappointed. For the price of $72 per adult and $38 per child then they added tax and gratuity... the food was eh at best and I wish we had saved our money and gone elsewhere. While the grounds are beautiful, I wanted to do something special for my husband’s birthday which is on Christmas Day.
