I drive by this park all the time, but Juneteenth was the first time I actually visited. It’s a decent sized park with plenty of shaded areas. Has a large court for basketball and tennis practice; a winding trail that leads up to the covered picnic area and small children playground, and two separate dog park areas for large and small dogs. honestly i came thinking itd be just another neighborhood park with a playground and some benches nothing special but wow it is so much bigger than it looks from the road theres a huge pond with trees all around and this long boardwalk that goes way out over the water its perfect for a chill walk or just sitting on a bench and watching people fish i love how quiet it is even when there are a ton of kids on the play structures theres space to just breathe my dog had the best time sniffing around all the shaded paths and hones... read more
