Tonight was probably my 8th time at Sal's place. No complaints at all for the first seven. But tonight, (August 27th, 2026) I need to let potential diners know what happened. Part of a group of 6, I ordered the pork chop. As I ate the dish I noticed a faint "off" taste. But it's covered in mushroom gravy so I ate 2/3rds of it before I noticed that it was really off closer to the bone. I asked my wife to smell it and she recoiled. Best pizza in the area. Great family owned! Hard working and so nice to everyone. Best Italian ices ever. They have a cannoli flavor to die for!
