They never answer the phone or it’s always busy. Sushi is great though.
Outstandingly food, this is the best fried rice, hands down.
All i can say is that my wife and i had a wounderful time. the food was great and the employes were very nice.
we did the combination / split rice . meat meal. My son asked for steak with his, luckily he wasnt allergic to shellfish because he got shrimp on his plate. My husband was to get 1/2 the steak with son, he got nothing but a little plate of rice. No shrimp, no steak, no scallaps. It was my daughtes birthday so we did not want to complain and ruin her day as she loves sukuras. My husband did say, he got nothing on his plate and the cook never even offered?? Terribly cold! This is my family's "go to" spot and normally we are very satisfied. Tonight's experience was awful. It was so cold at our table (which was in the back of the restaurant) that we had to eat our meals with our scarf and coats on!! Several of us complained to our hostess and her only response was that the air was coming from the vent and we would warm up when the cook started. That never happened!!! It was so cold that we ended up packing our food early and left. Sakura must do better!! Very disappointing
Had much better Japanese elsewhere. The people were nice but the establishment was awful. Definitely Needs Renovated/Remodeled- so dirty & dated.
I went here for they first time lastnite and it was amazing. They food was better than koto and cheaper I'll certainly be going back :-)
Absolutely freaking disgusting, by far the worst hibachi food ever... I'll neeeever evvvvvvver eat at this place again.... I can't even put into words how nasty this place was, compared to Tokyo Japanese Steak House (TJSH). I've been to ones in NC and VA, and the two chain restaurant isn't even close in comparison. If I was Roger and Ebert had to vote on this place (Sakura) they'd give it two thumbs down twice and demand to be paid for even being recommended to try it. Great fresh food and prepared while we watched. Can see the quality and they accommodated a special request easily. Table seats ten and we had, luckily two French tourist couples and a fun repertoire, as they say. Very reasonably priced and big portions.
