The wait time to see Dr. Saks is more than deplorable. I arrived at 10:37 for a 10:50 appointment. Was taken into a room where an assistant checked my vision and was out of this room by 10:55. I then was put in the TV waiting area, was there from 10:55 until 11:33, or 38 minutes. Then was put into another room to wait for doctor, from 11:33 to 11:47, or another 14 minutes. I am very happy to give Dr. Saks a 5 star rating. Due to thyroid eye disease 20 years ago, I required surgery. He was a key member of the team that corrected my retracted eyelids and restored a normal appearance. Again, two months ago, when the lids needed tweaking, he did an excellent job. His calm manner, reassuring confidence, genuine concern and gentle care were so appreciated. Thank you for all you do for so many, Dr. Saks.
Thank you to this wonderful man, Dr. Saks. My son can see so much better and he feels so much better about himself. This is only two weeks post surgery! He took such good care of us and his staff was so helpful. Words will never be enough to express our gratitude. I just read the 1-star review and felt I had to make a post. Dr. Saks is one of the better doctors that I have ever seen! He got right the root of the problem, prescribed temporary prism glasses for me that made my vision as near perfect as I could hope, helped me better understand what my issues were and helped me interpret and understand what another specialist ophthalmologist was trying to tell me. I would never recommend this doctor!! He was so cold, I felt like I was putting him out with my questions, and he didn't even explain the procedure to me that I would be going through!! Dr. Saks was very impersonal, and didn't even care about me!! He used an bent paper clip to push my eyelids up to show me what the results might look like. Didn't make an attempt to show me the photos of ex-patients. He didn't wash his hands before he came touched my eyes!!!
