Wow! What a fantastic lunch today at Sak’s Deli! If you’re in the Clayton area looking for FRESH food that was made with love, be sure to pull up! Today, we tried the MASSIVE Turkey Triple Decker, cheesy bacon fries and the BEST cheesesteak I’ve had! Great service from Grace and Matt and treated us like family! They get busy at lunch, so show up early! I’ll be back to try the breakfast menu!
We both ordered our favorite Reubens—corned beef for my husband and pastrami for me. Unfortunately, we thought they were overpriced for the size, and both sandwiches were much saltier than we expected. The fries and house-made chips were very good, and the sweet tea was delicious. We also enjoyed the chocolate mousse cake, but the chocolate chip cookies tasted store-bought and weren’t our favorite. If you like a decent Philly cheesesteak then you will be pleased. This small but quaint place puts out a sandwich with a great roll which holds up to the mound of meat, peppers, mushrooms and cheese. Pleasantly surprised! Very pleased.
They catered my son's high school graduation party and they did an absolute fantastic job! Our friends and family complimented how well it was set up and the food tasted! If you are looking for a caterer, they are the perfect ones to do it!
