Took our daughter for her 13th birthday to one of her favorite restaurants...waitress was great...but the chef was highly unfriendly, didn't smile or talk with us...did just the basics...cracked the eggs (no tricks), did little to nothing with the onion (my son was disappointed not to see his favorite part with the onion). We come to be entertained as much as to enjoy the food. We could have done take-out for less!!
Great food, great experience! – The staff was very friendly--- we went during their "Prime Time" hours, they were rather busy, but still made sure everyone was properly taken care of! The soup was less flavorful than expected, but from what I've discussed with "regular customers", that was a very rare occurrence. The hibachi chefs were very entertaining! Although it does seem to be pricey for the amount of food you get, you're also paying for both the experience and the overall quality of the food.... which both are AWESOME!... read more
Great place for singles, families, and exotic food lovers. – One of the best Japanese Steakhouses I have been to, and I have been to many throughout the US. The chefs are wonderful, and have great showmanship. The food is freshly prepared and delicious. I eat here all the time, never had any issues with staff or the food. They are wonderful. TERRIBLE service, mediocre food, will never go back – My husband and I had lunch with my parents for lunch on a Saturday at Sake. We have eaten at this restaurant at least two other times in the past, but this time the service was terrible. First, there was confusion between my mom and the waitress about the description of the "sushi lunch" because the waitress spoke little English.
