I visited Sake in Latham for lunch and left feeling completely overcharged and unimpressed. My boyfriend and I each ordered one cocktail and hibachi lunches. He had the filet mignon and salmon, and I ordered the chicken hibachi. After seeing how small the chicken portion was, I asked to add the salmon combo, which I was told was a $3 add-on. Went here for a friend's birthday a couple weeks ago. Ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi. It was prepared very well - flavorful, steak cooked a proper medium rare, and even the noodles and veggies tasted very fresh. It's a few bucks more expensive than other hibachi places in Albany but well worth it in my opinion.
Fast service, good quality food, some minor difficulty to communicate with staff. If compare with previous visits - more expensive and now better to make reservation on Friday.
Love the food and great customer service! I frequent this restaurant often.
