Update given the response from the restaurant. While doing some digging of my own I can see that it's possible what is shown in the image is sinew and safe to eat; from a presentation and experience perspective this is still problematic given that (1) it is visually unappealing, and (2) the expected texture and toughness of those bites would not be consistent with what's expected when ordering sushi. first time at this place! from the appetizer, the sushi roll, our hibachi meal and our server/waitress everything was on point! this is definitely the new go to spot for me and my loved one! thank you for a wonderful experience.
we went today for dinner… we got beef hibachi plate and an ichiban roll everything was so fresh and delicious.. we definitely will come back again soon!
