This is easily the best sushi in the city. The quality is incredible and everything so so fresh.
Oh my god, there is not a sushi restaurant in Hamilton even close to at the level Sakana is operating at. The sushi is so fresh and clean tasting, it's amazing! You'll pay a much higher premium for this level of craft in Toronto, we are so blessed to have this in our city. If you have any love for sushi you need to be here.
Excellent and low key. Very small quiet place. But probably the best and most simple sushi I've even had. Rice is the perfect temperature and texture. The fish is tender and amazing. Also Sake flights... Love a good sale flight.
Greetings, this was a first visit for my friend and I. So glad we tried it. Server was prompt, efficient and well informed. We enjoyed our Amberjack Nigiri as a starting point- and if we had to pick, that was our favourite. For all of the dishes provided, the rice was extremely well prepared, as promised. We also enjoyed a shittake maki, negitoro maki, and two hand rolls, one negitoro and one yellow fish. Just a terrific experience in modest and appropriate surroundings.
