I came to your hospital from London Emergency. In London, I had a fever of 40°C and waited for over 3 hours—no one even took a blood sample. Eventually, we felt like we had a better chance surviving elsewhere than being seen, so we left and drove to St. Thomas. By the time we arrived, I was severely dehydrated and had been vomiting for over 24 hours. As busy as any other hospital in this gfs province. Staff is courteous and handles triage 20x better than London's LHSC

At emergency. Wife had to be on fasting for 12 hrs for ultrasound while being 18 weeks pregnant. Ultrasound done and now waiting for doctors assessment from last 4 hrs. She is feeling nauseous, headache now as she hasn’t ate from last 16 hrs. Not sure if safe or not to be on fasting this long for baby and mother. No communication from nurse whether it is safe or not on communicating multiple times to her. Scared and worried. For sure we are on low priority and not being seen but just want assurance that this is safe.
