Worst hospital ever. I came to ER after a car accident with a severe neck pain. The doctor came in directly to do room checked me and told me that I will be given pain killers and I will get x-rayed. It is fine till this point. It took them 55 minutes to get me to the x-ray and it happened 1 minute after I told them I am still waiting. They did not even put the x-ray request on their system till I told them I am waiting for 55 minutes. Never again
I arrived at 10 am and was one of the first patients, so everything went fairly quickly. The staff were very nice and helpful, especially considering the navigation in the hospital can be a bit confusing. There is a pretty big parking lot in front of the building with the emergency room. I had a poor experience with the older security guard. He was quite rude, didn’t speak in full sentences, and got angry when I didn’t understand his 'instructions'. I’m not sure what happened recently, but SM emergency room did a 180. Wait time was short, the waiting area was clean and comfortable, the email/notifications were helpful. Everybody was so kind and incredible (shoutout to Nurse Kyle and PA Kaitlyn). Thank you for taking such great care of me.
