Was here 2 days ago for pelvic pain and uti. Turns out my gallbladder was enlarged and had stones. Im glad I stuck around until ultrasound came in. Every nurse and doc were amazing. I had no issues after my surgery. I've had bad experiences in the past. You guys are awesome and caring. Nurses listen to you instead of trying to push you out. 10/10 thank you guys again! Im glad Im getting better and my kids get to have their mom back and not sick all the time
They saved my life I came in fighting incoherent, fight or flight mode they didn’t get paid enough that night to deal with me. My organs where shutting down and they put me down on a breathing machine but those nurses saved my life that night
Stay away if you need emergency services. It’s better to go somewhere else because they just guess what’s wrong and push you out. They do not care about you or your health. They just want to go back to talking to each other. I know the hospital does not care but I hope this reaches out to people to STAY AWAY FROM THE ER!!!!!! If you want help and treatment go anywhere else than here. I wish they would fix these issues as you can see from other reviews. My daughter was having severe abdominal pain. She has special needs. The staff in the ER were fabulous with her! The phlebotomy tech, the X-ray tech, the Nurse, and the Doctor were all very good to her. She got great, thorough care that was fast. They even gave her a nice activity pack. It was very thoughtful. Thank you St. Mary's Kankakee ER staff!
Apparently I have a viral upper respiratory infection. Only thing prescribed was zofraine for throwing up.. I was placed in a room with no bed, then moved to a waiting room inside the ER with other sick individuals. I felt bad enough I went to the ER and the nurse wouldn’t even give me 2 days off from work.. because she said “you aren’t contagious”.
