I have been seeing doctor McKnight for over a year now he’s very good at diagnosing a problem the first time.He genuinely cares about his patient well being .
I usually don't post reviews, but I was shocked to see that there are sometimes bad reviews for walk-ins and Doctors. Giving a bad review to people who daily deal with the public on, what is sometimes their worst day, just seems wrong. So here's something right. From front desk to Pharmacy to Doctors, the level of care is phenomenal at St. Mary's. My family doctor, Doctor A. McKnight, is by far the best family doctor I've ever had. I usually have a great experience with my regular doctor. But I had to go for a walk in with my step daughter and saw dr. McKnight. He was In a hurry , dismissive and even failed to do a basic exam to rule out infection. All he did was listen to her chest which was far quicker than I’ve ever had. He failed to check her ears, and throat. If he is the only walk in doc on call I’ll go else where.
There should always be available openings for walk-in’s later in the afternoon you are open till 7pm and I can see a doctor at 3:30pm? not everyone is able to take time off work to sit in a waiting room at 8am. People still need to work. This creates unnecessary stress and anxiety for people who need to see a doctor but don’t have a family doctor to schedule appointments with. You create backlogs at the hospital because of this. PLEASE HIRE MORE DOCTORS TO ACCOMMODATE YOUR PATIENTS NEEDS! Very frustrating.
