Agree with all the other one-star ratings here. Went in with chest pain and waited over three hours with many others who were also there over three hours, some writhing in pain. Brusque, unfeeling staff. I finally demanded to sign out and go elsewhere (BJC-West, which was SO much better!). A real "don't let the door hit you as you leave" attitude from the staff.
Avoid at all costs. Patient was brought in by ambulance unable to walk. The emergency room is a complete joke. They have stated they aren’t able to do MRI’s or CT scans here. They wouldn’t even provide ice yet alone medication for pain. Take yourself somewhere else where you have a chance of being treated with human decency.
I’ve had good experiences anytime I’ve come to St. Luke’s but today’s visit was review worthy!! In and out in less than an hour, attentive staff, and a general sense of caring. Not too much to ask for and they over delivered Thank you again to everyone I interacted with from the minute I walked in, you made my visit seamless and it was appreciated.
Despite the circumstances that brought me to the ER, I had a very good experience. The staff and physician were extremely nice, patient, and caring. I truly appreciated the compassion and professionalism during a stressful time.
