As a patient, I’m proud to say that Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City on the Plaza in downtown KCMO is the best hospital I’ve EVER experienced in every way. Everyone who has helped or treated me, especially during all of the major & minor surgery’s I’ve had done through the years here, go above & beyond. Every single time. woke up with an extremely muffled left ear and was told I could be seen today, at the ent. got scheduled and found a ride there. Went up and receptionist was very rude. They couldn’t find my insurance and said I could either pay 195$ or reschedule. I asked for help because I was just seen, surely they could assist me. They did not. The receptionist on suite 512 laughed in my face when i asked for some leniency even though THEY couldnt find my insurance. You’re better off going somewhere else.

After my mother spent 2 weeks on the 4th floor, I'm fairly certain that fast tracked her passing 6 months later. I really regret taking her there. She was miserable and the care was terrible.

I was loyal to St Lukes for many years. I was passed between 4 doctors with bad bloodwork and continued complaints. I was made to believe I was a hypochondriac and often given random medication to help with the symptoms. I eventually fell off a ladder and had to be taken to the ER. I was diagnosed with late stage 4 cancer with large tumors throughout my body.
