I recently stayed at this hotel and had a lovely experience, despite some mixed reviews. While the building is older and shows some wear and tear, the furnishings they've chosen, make it feel modern and gives it a great feel. Cleanliness was better than I expected based on prior feedback. Everything was tidy, although a quick wipe down of the exhaust fan would have been a nice touch. Absolutely disgraceful experience. I arrived at this hotel at 11:30pm, only to be told that there were no rooms available, even though I had a confirmed booking and had already paid. They had effectively given away my room and left me stranded late at night in a very unfortunate situation. I did not stay at the hotel, yet they still kept my money and have refused to issue a refund. That is not just poor customer service, it feels completely dishonest. Excellent Hotel for a short stay if visiting nearby. Hint, parking available if you book it. Under the Hotel. Hint, $20 breakfast if you pay at the reception first. Very good Breakfast.

Its very visible the property is older. Our room was clean, bed not perfectly made but very evident many repairs have been made over time. Air con worked, shower worked, tv worked - we were there to sleep only in the room so it didn't bother us the room was older. We feel the price was a little on the higher side but location was good. We enjoyed happy hour at the bar downstairs and then breakfast the next morning.
