This hospital would be better but its so underfunded, everyone was busy doing multiple jobs and couldnt attend to me for hours not even giving me a cup of water. Also theres alot of rude people in there knowing people are in pain and suffering and they ignore them to take care of others. Thats why I think if it had more workers it would be a better hospital but the fact is that is so underfunded that they cant hire more additional workers that would be able to take care of more people. Ive live 3 blocks away from st John's hospital for over 20 years and i must say its a bad hospital always has been. The only hospital we have on this peninsula and STILL HAVE NO TRAMA UNIT. Nice and fancy new buildings but still doesn't have what the community needs.

I read that it’s not appropriate for the chaplain to pray with staff in open work spaces. That should be done in private areas. Not everyone is catholic. Some nurses are Christian, Jewish or even Muslim. Very uncomfortable.After morning report the Chaplain comes in a huddle with the nurse to pray aloud. I never witnessed that before.

My wife’s uncle is a patient at this hospital. Everyone is giving him grear care.
