Nurses work so hard to care for their patients and don’t go into it this profession expecting any sort of reward. To know you’ve made a difference is meaningful. My 80 year old mother has been sitting in the waiting room at ER for over 8.5 hours. But go see your Dr or have tests ran and they want that money on the spot.

Don’t go to the ER here. I waited 7 hours and nothing. Receptionist was rude and not helpful/compassionate. Charge nurse told me he couldn’t tell me when I would get called back. He told me someone else waited 14 hours before they got called back. I guess that was supposed to make me feel like I was being petty. I left. Many others left as well after several hours of waiting for nothing. About 5 months ago I sat with my daughter in the same ER and it took 10 hours before she was called back plus another 4 hours in the room. ... read more
