My son was treated there and we were not happy with the service. The nurses in infusion were great but his doctor seriously lacked compassion, empathy, and any sort of bedside manner. My son felt horrible with this treatment especially in the last month of his life. I feel when someone is already dealing with cancer and facing the reality of death they at least deserve respect and compassion. He asked for a new Dr and they kept putting him off until he died. So disappointed in St Al's cancer center.
I have treated for almost 3 years at this facility but now I have appointments cancelled by mistake. I was made aware of the cancellation at come to the front desk to sign in for a monthly blood draw and no record of me. I was ask if I have another name and if I am in the right place. I error was fixed but not to me satisfied. I didn't see the doctor that I was supposed to see. Just a chair number and the infusion. No follow up with the staff or doctor.
I was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2020 and I am very happy with the professional care and amazing people. Dr Gordon was amazing and now Dr. Ru is amazing, kind and wonderful!
I'm leaving this review due to Jessica's phone behavior. She asked repeatedly about my needs, despite clear notes, and called me rude. I'm disappointed vulnerable patients receive such poor treatment. I'll seek help in Nampa, hoping for a more compassionate experience, which explains the negative Boise reviews.
