Does not listen. I, like millions of American, did not have health insurance for many years so I had to work with my general doctor for my insomnia. Once I was finally insured I could not wait to address my insomnia. The sleep clinic does not answer their phone, nor do they return calls for weeks! I had to get my doctor to contact on my behalf. This doctor is a disgrace to the profession! I was referred to her for help with restless legs before my upcoming surgery. Each time I have surgery my RLS goes crazy. All she wanted to talk about was for me to be tested for sleep apnea! Seriously! I told her I had no symptoms and that I was very familiar with sleep apnea as my husband has worn a cpap for 25+ years! She asked me why i was there. I asked her what the referral said! The worst. Does not care. Acts like you're wasting her time and outright lies on your medical chart about time spent, assessment etc. How does 5 minutes of fake listening and saying "hydrate" amount to a full hour of assessment with tons of "notes"?Completely missed/dismissed the real problem with my wife and put her in danger. Delayed and obstructed emergency access to other doctors by saying she's perfectly fine in her medical record. Other doctors found it. Horrible experience! I was referred so I didn’t really have a choice…I’ve been having troubles with sleep and since I’m overweight she took one look at me and said “sleep apnea” even though I wasn’t presenting any symptoms. I asked her to test more than just that but alas that’s all she tested (well I tested, I did the test at home myself) and it was negative surprise surprise. Not once did she follow-up.
