We took the ASA 101 course and loved it! Captain Yvonne is the best. It was a good mix of classroom instruction and on the water training. I now feel prepared to take the boat out and to keep building on this basic set of skills.
I've been a SailTime member for 3 seasons and couldn't be happier! From the office staff, fleet manager, crew, and our boat owner, you really couldn't find better people willing to help you on your sailing journey, no matter what stage you may be. The boats are always immaculate, and ready to sail. No boat goes out not seaworthy. We had a fantastic experience with SailTime Annapolis. Our group of 8 friends enjoyed a fabulous afternoon learning to sail with Captain Yvonne and Captain Amy! I finished an ASA 101 Basic Sailing course with SailTime in Annapolis yesterday, 11 August 2024. Right from the time I contacted SailTime's Director of Sales Tammy to inquire about the course, I had a wonderful experience all the way to finishing the course. The training was on a 22-foot, twin-sail boat with three other students. Our instructor, Yvonne Brandt, was outstanding in her knowledge and practical experience of sailing, and was a very good and patient teacher.
