They were great before, during, and after I purchased my boat (Minicat 420). One season on my last time out, the front piece of the frame snapped (others have posted online about this failure mode). They were really helpful and worked with the manufacturer to replace the parts that broke or were lost, which was great. The next season, the frame wouldn't reassemble, and I realized another part of the frame had been bent during the prior failure. Not only are the boats and equipment. Sailing Awaits sells are high-quality, so their people. I purchased a Minicat 420 from Alfred and 2021, the boat was fantastic. The service was as well. In 2025 because my favorite sailing partner (my son) moved away I decided to sell my boat. I reached out to Alfred to ask for his advice, he indicated they would be happy to promote my boat on their website, for a very reasonable fee. They were great before, during, and after I purchased my boat. They answered all my questions, delivered the boat as expected, and quickly resolved an issue I later had with a paddle. I highly recommend Sailing Awaits.
I've been sailing 35 years and owned (7) sailboats everything from Olympic Star to 35' Hunter. Sailing the Minicat 420 sport boat is my favorite sailing yet. I sail every wed after work most of the year. The performance and quality of the boat exceeds my expectations continuously. Sailing Awaits has been fully available to help with questions and keep me sailing. Appreciate them and the boat!
