Great people, great place! My family and I went to Storm Lake for the weekend to visit some family. Sail Inn was a great choice. Very great view of the lake and great prices. Others were very overpriced. The service was great also. although its not fancy, it was very welcoming and thats what we look for! Most definitely going back to stay there in July!
Worst Place Ive ever stayed Not only was this place gross and nasty: no toilet paper, trash in the drawer, pubic hair on the bathroom floor but when it was time to go to bed and we pulled the covers back the sheets were wrinkled and dirty like someone had stayed in them. So we slept on the floor. Since this was the only motel available for the weekend we figured after speaking to the front desk that they would at least clean it the next day HA HA HA we got back the next evening and the door to our room was wide open. Decent Priced Rooms If you are looking for a place to simply lay your head for a night or a weekend, this place is good. There is nothing fancy about this hotel, but everything is clean and well kept up. Reasonable prices and right on the lake!
