My parents rented with Urbandale at 1058 Dakota and the units were purchased by Saikley. Throughout the years, the main office and property manager had been absolutely amazing. The female super could use some people training, over the years she has been abrupt (even rude at times) but I am still giving them five stars because they shouldn't be penalized for the personality of one person. I had the pleasure of viewing several units at 67 Cartier with Alina, and she was absolutely wonderful. Not only was she kind and professional, but she also conducted the tour efficiently and provided clear, detailed information throughout. When it came time to apply, Alina was incredibly helpful - she walked me through every step of the process and made sure I understood all the details. A great experience overall!
I've been living in the Acadian Apts for 8 yrs and have seen 4 or 5 supers come and go. Each one got worse as the yrs past but they finally have found the couple we have now and they are great. The building is clean and are prompt when things need to be done. I literally am always seeing them working on something. I for one am very pleased that we have pleasant and polite people taking care of all the tenants. I think 2 or 3 stars is pretty apt. I was going to put 2 stars, but I had really good superintendents for my entire stay. If you're moving out from Saickley soon, read till the end. 67 Cartier Street... All my maintenance requests would be handled right away. Great price for the unit. The building is old, really could use some renovations, smells, etc. The pipes are really old and at a low angle so you'll regularly have problems. They intend to fix this, my understanding, at some point - already doing so in another building.... read more
