Just want to say that SAIA is EXCELLENT!!! I live on a steep hill, with a hefty slope on my driveway to add to the headaches, but SAIA's driver handled my 1,000 lb. Crate delivery flawlessly!!! He called to discuss the various routes to approach my house before he arrived. He arrived precisely on time . The crate was situated in the wrong direction in his trailer for an easy unload, but with his electric pallet jack, he was able to spin it around and offload with ease. Wonderful staff friendly speedy service. Especially Mike he just retired but was very kind professional and provided amazing service. If rates were cheaper would use them every single time.
Just had a call with dispatch one of their drivers was supposed to pick up our item at 1pm, the driver rolled through our parking lot without stopping. After speaking with dispatch they claim the driver could not pick up the order as it needed a lift gate. The driver never saw the item as it was located in our office and I can pick up the item with one hand so the lift gate is also unnecessary.
