Followup to prior review of Sahuarita Auto. I returned today from a NAPA certified shop with many other certifications. The mechanic moved the front shocks to the top of the adjustment. 2 1/2 “ lift. It was necessary to remove both front struts to adjust ride height. This mechanic reported the shocks were the same length. And wanted to set the shocks one setting from the top, but given the winch, etc on front set to top adjustment. Following the repair, they completed a 4-wheel alignment. Cost was $479.00. I stopped by SA and talked to AJ about red lights on dashboard. I was aware that small red squirrels had nested under hood and may have chewed wires. AJ said he’d look at it and fix if possible. When I returned he had found wires in main harness chewed. His repair fixed most of the lights on dash. He charged me $70.00. I was pleas d with the outcome. I ask him how much to replace shocks on rear and struts on front and to replace front rotors, calipers, and pads. He pointed out how rusted the front calipers and shocks were. ... read more
