I have a two and a half year old solar assissted heat pump which uses an SAHP control box. The box has developed a fault but my installer now says the 5 year warranty is worthless as SAHP have entered into insolvency proceedings and have ceased trading. A call to SAHP resulted in 'this number is unavailable'.
Firstly our very old boiler broke down, & so we wished to purchase a new one a.s.a.p. Prior to SAHP coming to give a quote 6 other company’s arrived prior to give there quotes too. Out of these 6 company’s 1 quoted £14,500 ( as we only have a flat this would have been putting a rolls Royce engine into a fiat 500), 2 used a WhatsApp video call to see the boiler & electrics, 2 arrived at our flat but where only sales people & unable to answer our question, we even had the most local boiler company charge £60 to just come for a... read more
SAHP Supplied me with a 300 litre unit in 2019, I am a plumbing and heating engineer and was interested in trying the thermodynamic hot water system, it has worked faultlessly ever since, I decided it was probably wise to have a service visit this year just to have it checked over, everything is working as it should. Very pleased with the service from SAHP.
I was initially impressed by the knowledgeable staff who visited me; there was no pressure selling and everyone I saw obviously believed in the product. Installation was efficient, considerate and swift. Connor and James were extremely professional and considerate and left no mess or waste. The pump is up and running. Hot water is there whenever I need it, without firing up the gas boiler. I am happy to show it to friends and visitors.
Our installation experience with SAHP is very positive. Their team management before and during the installation went according to plan, despite the very hot weather. There was some preliminary 'works' needed to accommodate the new 200L system, which was completed ahead of the installation and commissioning of the Heat Pump.
