Dr. Mittal was very professional and very much polite and has a great listening ear. He saw me last year and did a colonoscopy on me and he took great care of me. He’s awesome. He comes highly recommended.
The attitude of this doctor does not seem to me, as if he did not have the best interest in the patients, in how they feel or in solving their problem. I particularly found it disrespectful on his part that while my Mom was talking to him about her symptoms he was laughing at her. It was so unpleasant, I don't think I'll go back to him. I have treated Doctors from the same culture and they are all excellent.
Wonderful experience. Went in for an Endoscopy 3 years ago. He explained everything the camera found and prescribed medication to help the issue. I went back 18 months later for a different issue (which he helped me resolve) and he mentioned how sweet it was that my kids put stuffed animals next to my head while I was in recovery after the Endoscopy. He remembered that even after a year and a half! I only trust Dr. Mittal with my GI issues. Great personable service which is rare these days in the medical world.

This review is for Dr Sahil Mittal, gastroenterologist at the Katy KS clinic. I waited 3 months for this appointment and it was an abject letdown. Doctor’s attitude was unbelievably brusque and dismissive. When I mentioned not wanting to take PPIs for their documented numerous side affects he outright challenged me to list them and said it was disinformation! From reputed medical journals?!
