bottom line If it's all about the money then it's not worth my time. I was yelled at for buying milk with my debit card by the owner. I used to shop at Sahara Mart almost every week to buy our specialty items like organic and natural products. I have walked out of there with my shopping cart full of groceries before. And this one time that I had run in to buy milk and didn't happen to have cash on me the owner went on and on about how he was losing money on me because I didn't bring in cash. Best in B-town This store is great. Everything you need Local..Organic..coffee produce etc. I love the staff they drop whatever they are doing to help. Check out the wine and beer WOW! Again the staff in the are is great...Tracy can answer any wine question.
Delightful place I really enjoy shopping at the Sahara Mart. It's always been full of healthy foods, exotic imports, and fresh goodies like pastries and deli goods.They have tubs of fresh mozzarella that are better than any other place I have found in Bloomington. Since their recent expansion, the Sahara Mart is amazing. They are huge! Anyone who enjoys good food, really nice personal treatment from the owners, and loads of interesting items to shop for should check it out!
Great store It's really nice to live in atown like Bloomington where there are so many great options for food. I used to like going to the Sahara Mart every once in awhile for specialty items or even just to browse. Since the renovation I go there a lot more. The store has so much in it now. They have many yummy things and a great coffee section. Nice deli too.
