If I could give this place 0 stars I would. All they do is belittle you and pick apart every imperfection you have while you are at your lowest. they brainwash you into believing you are NOTHING and NEED them. Called cps on me a million times for small things even the cps worker told me I needed to get out of this place and they were tripping. They threatened to kidnap my children and kick me out but not give me my kids. That should sum up how horrible the place is.

My wife went here a short time and it helped her alot. She leared alot and uses what she learned to help her cope.

Saved...my...life. Taught me how to live and heal from my trauma, and finally get real. Stop being a victim in my own recovery and learn to love myself. When it got hard, I COPED. Put in the work! Real talk...some of the most amazing people in the world...that are now my family.

Absolutely avoid this place at all costs. Kids were traumatized by their stay, as was I. Their cult-like approach to treatment is abusive and manipulative, using residents as “staff” and maintenance and housekeeping and all meals. It’s more like jail than rehab. Literally go anywhere else. At discharge, they kept my debit card, cash and gift cards. I never had actual therapy or a treatment plan, left as soon as we possibly could. Google “Synanon” for more info on their roots.

This is essentially jail, but if it allows you to keep your kids its worth it. Its based off of a military program. I would not send anyone there with emotional health problems, ptsd, trauma. This place only makes you feel worse. I stayed 4 months because they try and keep you as long as possible to use you as slaves.
