Dr Guanmes borders on malpractice every day. She is useless. Whenever she fills in for Dr. McLean (who is great) she becomes a denying witch. She refuses to renew refills that you may have been taking for years. In the last ten years I have had to deal with her in McLeans absence several times; usually for a routine drug renewal. Had a terrible experience with dr Guarnes........found I had nodes on my thyroid, and a mediastinal tumor. Asked dr to order a biopsy, and she threw a hissy fit, and said she didn't think it was necessary, wanted to wait 3 months and check it again. When I said I really wanted to know now if it was cancer, she told me to find another dr if I didn't trust her. I did, and am Having my biopsy next week. I don't understand why a doctor would want to sit and wait on such an important issue. Love my new doc!!!!!
