Extremely Disappointed – Waste of Time and Money with Dr Anwar. I regret spending ten sessions with Dr Anwar . Each session felt like a repetition of the last—she would listen to my stories, offer no constructive feedback, and always say, “I’ll advise you next week.” That “next week” never came. Dr. Bothwell and Ms. Tiberio were professional, considerate of the time allotted and thorough in the intake appointment, and sympathetic with personal matters. Ms. Tiberio was very kind and accommodating during the assessment appointment, and helped me glide through all the tests lined up. The feedback session, done virtually, was really good. Complete waste of money. I paid nearly $300 to get told that I have anxiety and I would benefit from therapy. Thanks, I knew that, it was so besides the point of my visit. I specifically requested an assessment from a psychologist and got this nonsense that any therapist could have told me. Every other facility would actually work with you to figure out what's right/wrong with you. Will be going somewhere else that actually wants to help and not grift money. I have been a patient of Dr. Valadao for 5 years now. He has helped me throughout my life journey throughout a very eventful 5 years of trying to conveive, marriage and starting a family. He has given me such instrumental takeaways that I use over and over again when I come into stressful situations that bring on my anxieties. So many of these ignorant people leaving 1 star reviews have no idea how Psychology works and is performed, as well as not a clue how an office of psychologists functions or even the simple fact that psychologists are people too. The prices are what they are. That's the world we live in. Good luck finding something as cheap as you're expecting.
