I've taken my two dogs here for about 7 years. The previous vet took us through cancer surgery, thyroid issues, chronic lupus, and pain management before she left the practice last year. I called today to follow up on bloodwork from a few weeks ago that I hadn't heard back on, and apparently they're closed. No notice, pending labs, and left with zero support. Really disgusting lack of accountability, and the new owners should be ashamed of how they're treating families who trusted them with the care of their beloved pets.
I used to really love Sage Vet Care, but I'm the last year they have really fell apart. I have a 19 year old cat that was having health issues and I didn't hear back from the clinic for almost 6 months even with me calling and leaving messages. I hope they can get another Dr and take care of my animals the way they used to.
A Practice in Decline I want to be upfront: I previously gave Sage Veterinary Care 5 stars, and that rating reflected a genuinely excellent practice. This review reflects an entirely different experience under their current operation. Great Vet. Conservative and so incredibly kind! The staff is incredible as well! We are new patients and we feel right at home here. They are taking new patients (hopefully still) as Reno/Sparks is underserved. Thanks Sage Vet!
