Jason from Gas Fireplace Doctors (Sage Solutions) cleaned my gas fireplace this morning and got it up and running again. He did a great job! Highly recommend this company and Jason!
I very rarely write reviews, but sometimes it seems necessary. Anyone using Sage should do so with their eyes wide open. When Sage quotes a repair, they will not provide the cost of parts. Instead, they lump the cost of parts in with labor costs for one grand total, and that's all the customer gets to see. The result is a less than transparent quote that's impossible to accurately assess. They quoted me $335 for a repair and wouldn't tell me how much the part was when I asked. I thought I was having a gas valve issue with our gas fireplace and after calling around trying to get someone to come out or explain a solution I lucked out and emailed Sage Solutions. Mike Sajdak emailed me back and after several emails he noticed that the photo I sent him of the gas valve had an improper switch setting. After making the correction the problem was resolved saving me $. Thanks Mike. His help was customer satisfaction.
They came last year Fall 2024 to turn off and winterize our sprinklers which went really well and we had no issues. Then in May 2025, when we booked an appointment to come turn our sprinklers back on (which they rescheduled 3 times as they didn’t bring the equipment for the job) they said they couldn’t turn them back on unless we paid them $4,330, citing it was broken, which was strange since they were the last ones to touch anything and never mentioned anything in the fall.
