Absolutely horrible experience. I left my full body massage early and they still charged me in full for the back massage, despite me explaining it was causing a headache and making me feel worse than when I arrived. The therapist used elbows very aggressively and then made it seem like it was my fault for not specifically saying “no elbows” beforehand. Excellent massage today! $105 for a one hour full body massage is too much though. $95 was acceptable.
I've had regular foot massages at Sage and have been very pleased, however it appears that the service has declined. I booked in a foot massage yesterday and the therapist first burnt my foot with a very hot towel. She then proceeded to massage mainly my calves and shins and hardly my feet with the same repetitive motion over and over. Unfortunately it really depends on the person you get, sometimes I come here and it’s great but more often than not it’s terrible. Despite asking for a firm massage I’m sitting here writing this now whilst I’m getting a foot reflexology - or should I say a lower leg rub - wondering why I gave them another chance. My feet were rubbed up and down the same motion for about 5 minutes per foot out of 30. My heels and toes were touched for about 30 second per foot.
