I reached out to Aibhne after hospital staff introduced my 3 day old to a bottle and he stopped latching and nursing. I spent a week exclusively pumping while trying desperately to get him to breastfeed again. Within one visit from Aibhne, my son was latching and nursing. We haven’t touched a bottle since and are working on improving his latch while we wait to get a tongue tie revision (also identified by Aibhne). Aibhne was so incredible to have help me learn the most comfortable positions for feeding in such a quick and informative way!! Immediately after one session it has been night and day difference and baby girls latch is so comfortable now, I have so much less anxiety with feeding ! Bonus, she showed me baby wearing tips, and also baby stretches which was so good to know!! Could not recommend her services enough !!
Aibhne is the most understanding, gentle and holistic lactation consultant I worked with. I felt zero judgement and 100% support. The strategies recommended were all very reasonable and worked with what I was already doing. Also, she was the only consultant who took the time to talk about my wellbeing as well. I really appreciated her advice on diet, relaxation and sleep.
