Another negative review here. Our counselor was Michael, he caused so much harm to my wife and I. When I contacted them about getting a referral for a different counselor to see ASAP, because of the terrible situation their therapist put us in, they simply blew my off. They are not LGBTQ+ friendly, they have no knowledge on substance abuse and their office is literally filthy. They didn’t even have tissues… what therapist doesn’t have tissues? A bad one, I left sobbing from our couple’s appointment. I wish I had never gone.
I started seeing the lead counselor at SAGE a little over a year ago. He has been such a help in my day to day quality of life. When I look back and compare this provider to many many other services in Omaha it’s without a doubt, this place has helped me the most. By way of good loving staff, that are always working their hardest to provide the best counseling service possible. Negative reviews are never fun, but I hope I can spare someone the troubles that I faced with Sage Counseling at U street. It was a negative experience from the start. I filled out the patient intake forms on their website and waited two days for someone to contact me, when they didn't, I called and they said they didn't receive it. Oh well.
