I highly recommend this location. They are known throughout New Mexico and a must have. I recommend their apple tart and breads. Every time I am in Santa Fe, I make a stop to pick up my favorites. The staff is always friendly . What are you waiting for, go get a treat for yourself!
Great selections of incredibly fresh and tasty savory and sweet treats. The place gets very busy around breakfast and lunch but the team handles the orders very well. The only down is their prices, which tend to be a bit high when compared to similar local bakeries.
The smell of bread baking makes GPS unnecessary. On my own for a couple of hours before the Intl. Folk Art Market, I followed my nose and found this wonderful bakery. The staff was tremendous. You order at the counter with their assistance and all forms of payment are available. I ordered a tartine which is an open faced sandwich of scrambled eggs. The eggs were perfect. The bread is just okay. My standards for bread are high from living in Germany. Compared to whole wheat sourdough breads that I can get in the US in either Ithaca NY or Columbus OH, this bread is weirdly dry, even when it’s baked fresh. I’m at least grateful that they don’t add sugars to the dough. The tartines are wildly overpriced: I too can toast bread and smash avocado on it and slap some prosciutto on it.
