Very pleased with Dr. Shah. He’s respectful, carefully and actively listens to patients, and explains medical issues in a way that is all at once thorough, accessible, and actionable—a balance that, in my experience, can be difficult for some medical professionals to maintain. I’d also like to highlight the professionalism and helpfulness of the medical staff at North Coast Medical Center. Everyone—from the scheduling staff to medical assistants and doctors—are delightful.
Highly recommend! I’ve been seeing him for a few years now and Dr. Shah is the best primary care doctor I’ve ever had. Great bedside manner, really takes the time to listen to concerns and help solve problems not just through referrals but also through lifestyle medicine tips which I really appreciate. Very approachable and very accessible.
For this particular visit, I was seeing Dr. Shah for a preventative yearly appointment. During the visit, I brought up a pain in my SI joint. Which I thought was the whole point of a preventative office visit… To bring up things of concern. When I got my explanation of benefits from Anthem, not only was my insurance charged for the preventative office visit, I was also charged for asking additional questions that were not considered part of a “preventative visit.” This resulted in two codes being sent to my insurance, and me... read more
